Whistler Artisan Market - Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the Whistler Artisan Market!

By purchasing your event space you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Vendor fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable after October 10th, 2022
  2. Vendors agree to create a booth/table display that will exemplify the quality of your products without inhibiting the vendors around.
  3. Vendors will do their utmost to publicly, positively promote the heck out of this market and raise any concerns privately.
  4. This is a vendor run market and we hope that you will assist where possible in the set up and operation of the event while being respectful to all vendors, organisers and Fairmont Chateau Whistler staff. We understand that logistically this won’t be possible for all vendors and is a request, not a requirement.
  5. In the event or Public Health Orders are issued impacting the viability of the market, the organisers will follow the requirements as set by the venue. 
  6. All vendors are required to hold Liability Insurance up to $2,000,000.  Please provide a copy of your insurance to [email protected].  If you are looking for insurance for the 2 days of events only, an option can be found here: https://duuo.ca/vendor-insurance/Please search for the Whistler Artisan Market once selecting ‘Get Quote’.   7. Vendors will accept liability for any losses sustained during the event and are responsible for resolving any disagreements regarding their products.  
  8. Vendors agree to providing high resolution quality product images for marketing and social media as well as being photographed during set up and event hours. 
  9. Vendors agree to offer only the products and services as outlined in the Vendor Application Form unless otherwise approved prior to the market. 
  10. Vendors will provide the necessary resources to obtain payment for their products and services, including payments by credit, debit and cash. 
  11. Vendors providing food products will ensure they hold the requirements dictated by Vancouver Coastal Health for the sampling and sale of goods. 
  12. Vendors will be present in-person, or have a representative on-site  in their allocated space throughout the Market hours – Saturday 11am-6pm, Sunday 11am-5pm.  No early pack down will be permitted. 
  13. Vendors will be provided a time on November 25th for load-in.  Setup will be available any time from your designated load-in time on Saturday 25th until 8pm, then 8am-10am on November 26th.  Limited options will be available for load-in outside of this time. Vendors will be ready 30 minutes prior to the opening of the market each day.
  14. Vendors will be expected to adhere to the terms and conditions at all times and failure to do so may result in cancellation of registration as a vendor. https://duuo.ca/vendor-insurance/
